We always show up to movies late and Transformers was packed with just seats in the front. damit ... but we never sit in crappy seats no matter what b/c my wife always goes up to a some dude who has a empty seat and asks him to move and they are happy to move over.

 

Mandarin chinese buffet had a free promo lunch or dinner for Canada day .... yes, the entire meal was free as long as you brought your citizenship. Lines were literally about 6 hours. Pretty crazy promotion.

On the subject on counterfeit money, I was watching Dateline NBC on it and they did an sting operation of US counterfeit $100s and crazily, they used inkjet printers ! Yes, inkjet printers ! Not lazers, not some super crazy printer but a crappy small inkjet !  They used a 5 dollar bill and reprinted over it with the inkjet ... although for "security reasons" they skipped some "crucial steps" so not everyone in America tries it.

earlier this year, Elgin Baylor filed a discrimination lawsuit against the Clippers (Link here) after working as their GM for the past 20 years... The Clippers are the worst run sports team in history and undoubtly the owner is a major reason.

 

This GM is perhaps the worst GM in the history of sports. Sure, he was limited by budget but his draft record is almost 0%, its almost if he picked every worst pick possible for the past 25 years ... its astonishing.

Union spokesman said the LCBO made $1.5 million in profit last year.

I would like to say this is the worst run business entity in Canada ....it should literally make $1.5 million per hour in profit  in all seriousness. "Somebody" stole a few billion of the table.

 

What's crazy is the union head used this as a leverage point...

 

I'm no expert in retail sales but if the province let me open up a liquor store in my basement and charge me a 500% tax on the liquor, I would still make more than the entire LCBO organization made in the last decade combined.

 

everyone has different hobbies and likes different things ... i have noticed all my friends get SUVs recently .. its almost too predictable.

 

my dad chatted with my wife on the phone about his new car he ordered in ... "its got side view cameras, heads up display, a 80 gig stereo system, ... yadda yadda yadda...." for about 20 minutes explaining every new option that is available in cars nowadays

the best tv show has ended ... the Duel 2. Its an MTV Olympic games but way more entertaining. The sporting events are actually fun to watch.

 

Why aren't obstacle course and games that are on the Duel, American Gladiators and Wipeout not official olympic sports?

tastes like horse .... chances in your life, you will ever encounter this is probably never unless you are on a deserted island. I hadn't seen or heard of this until Sunday and Sunday I ate a horse. Dipping it in butter didn't help make this horse tasty.

 

 

 

I've been trying to crunch some numbers on how much ribs and food I need to get for the BBQ.

 

Wife wanted one and half pounds per person ! which with our new figures comes in at a whopping 45 pounds ... Can I go to the grocery store and just get 45 pounds of ribs now sounds like a legitimate question. And is it possible to cook that amount? I'll let you know if we BBQ the swine flu away....
